To whomever reads this:
My husbands family (BLACK surname) thus far have been in Texas and they come from the Alexander Frierson BLACK lineage. I beleive that Alexander F. BLACK came from Mississippi. Now my guess with this 2nd photo called "who2.jpg" was that it was probably taken in 1910-1920 because of the straw hat worn by the man on the left. The type of socks that the man on the right is wearing. The fact that the people in the picture are out in a field tellls you that they were in a wide open space. So I am guessing that these people probably are in years of 1910s, 1920s or 1930s and it looks like it was taken during the summertime.
Did you all check the local phone books for that part of the country and see what photographers existed during that time cause maybe on the back of the photo there is a clue of where that photograph was taken. Also if you get a clue of where the photographer was the country then you could help locate them by looking at ten years census's as well for those photographers. These are just my thoughts. See if it guides you in a new direction. Good luck
