I am currently researching a project on the Boer War, in particular the casualties for the Highland Light Infantry regiment of the British Army.

I am looking for any descendants of a W BLACK who died during this war. He was either a Sergeant or a Lance Corporal and I beleive he served in the 2nd Volunteer Battalion.

Does this name mean anything to anyone? I am interested to hear from anyone with any information.
