My g-grandfathers name was Lewis Black, born ca. 1820? in Ill or Ky. He married Nancy Wadkins in 1844 in Wayne Co. Illinois. He had several children, Louise (Lou), born 1843, Moelisa born 1845 in ILL, William born 1847. He moved to Perry Co, MO and had a son named Jules, then evidently moved back to Perry Co ILL. He may have been married several times. There is a possibility that he had a son named James. He had a nephew, Ben, who lived at least for a while, in MO. Would like to find his brothers and/or sisters and any other info on him.
