I am still trying to find any relatives of
David Black born abt 1795 in PA. This family orginated from Germany. John kept his "Blacksmith records in German". He was the father of the follwing person:
John W Black born 9/18/1819 in PA married Mary Magdalena Delo 8-11-1842 they had the following children:
1 William Black born 5/18/1843
2 James Black born 2/1845 died 7/6/1885 in Farmington Twp., Clarion Co., PA
3 Mary Catherine Black born 2/20/1847, she married Jacob Hunsberger
4 Joseph A Black born 2/14/1849 married Emma Jane Logue.
He died in Paint Mills, Paint Twp., Clarion Co., PA
5 George W Black born 4/17/1851 married Kit. He died in 1902 in Barnes, Forest Co., PA
6 Samuel Marion Black born 8-1-1853 died 9/29/1938 in North Pine Grove, Farmington Twp., Clarion Co. He married twice-
Milly C Sampsel and Anna S McElhany
7 Suzanna Black born 9/11/1855 died 1883 married Thomas Troutner
8 Wilbur D Black born 2-21-1858 died in 1877 in Licking Twp., Clarion Co.
9 Alvin Francis Black born 9-17-1860 died 1/27/1916 in Licking Twp., Clarion married 2-23-1881 Emma Catherine Best
10 Ester Letcia Black born 2-15-1863 died 1946 in Shippenville, Clarion Co. married David Marion Beer(s)
11 Grant aka Uylesses Grant Black born 11-27-1865 died 12-27-1943 in Licking, Clarion Co., PA married Margaret E Kilgore
12 Daniel Black born 9-19-1867 died 1876.
I have been following these relatives thorough out the census, as near as I can tell they had fairly large families. Are there any relatives out there other than what I have already been in contact with. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
John W Black and Mary Magdalena nee Delo are my second great grand parents.
