Samuel Black b.1809 PA mar Charlotte Brooks b.1828 IN., 1846 Vigo Co., IN... CHILDREN - Henrietta 1847, James 1850-51, John 1855 d.1902 OK, Samuel 1862, Jasper 1870, Patsy, Tilla (Gilfoy) and Mariah (Taylor) b.dates unknown. John is my g-grandfather. Mar. Anna M. Sims 1875, Huntington Co., IN. Two children by this mar, Myrtle 1879 and Lottie 1881. He left IN, met Ella, (possibly Kimble (all variations) or Campbell)b. May 1878 Iowa, and resided in Novinger, Missouri. We were told she died at childbirth, or shortly after. HOWEVER, 1900 cen she is listed with John and child, Arena, my grandma. Her parents were born in KY. My quest...
Ella is such a mystery. I have been looking for any info on her for 15 yrs. To top this off, all grandma's life she went by the name of Irene Rose, unknowing her real name was Arena. If someone has a match to any of the above, do not hesitate in contacting me. I have tried numerous areas, too many to list, for Ella. All help would be extremely appreciated.Thank you!
