Charles BLACK (1879-1960), son of Andrew and Mary BLACK. He moved to Iowa. Married Emma KEMLING (1882-1951), daughter of Chris and Anna Kemling. Charles and Emma's son is Clark N. BLACK. He married Eda AVERILL, and they moved to Minnesota. Eda's parents are: Frank Averill and Grace Lockwood from Iowa. They are buried in Minnesota.

Places of residence: Red Oak, Russel (Lucas County), Grisvold (Cass County), and Pottawattomie County, Iowa; Ogilvie, (Kanabec County) Minnesota.
