I'm looking for any kind of help on the following.
My grandmother Ella Black 1904 - 1988 married Clay Crank 1897 - 1991, I have
been searching for anything on Ella's parents and recently I found out her
parents names. Her parents never married and had 2 kids. Her father's name
was John Hampton, this is all I know about him is his name. She used her
mother's last name Black. Her mother's name was Emily Black born 1879 in
Knox County, I found her listed in the 1930 Knox County census with husband
John T. Valentine. Not 100% sure but believe her parents to have been Issac
and Sallie Black. Does any of this look familiar to anyone? Any imput or
help would be greatly appreciated.
