Message Board Post:

I have a James Black living in Williamson County Ill in the 1850s. I know of at least two children by the 1860s, John W. Black and Calidonia Tenn. Black and maybe a third by the name of George.. George and John moved to Cornning Arkansas some time in the late 1800s or very early 1900s. Calidonia married a William R. McConnell in williamson County, Ill. at age 16 and moved to Cornning so after...

Any help is appreciated... there may be more in this family than I know about as I could not find James and his wife int the 1870 Williamson County or Gatlin or Marion County census....
