Black is my name by marriage. This is what I know about the Black family. My husbands family is from around Phillipsburg Pennsylvania. They were a part of the forming of Black/Mashannon(sp) State Park. My husbands father was John R. Black. His parents were John Aubrey Black d.o.b 8/15/1895 died on 5/16/1936 he drowned in the river when his boat capsized, and Forrest May Leeper d.o.b. (unknown) died 8/8/1924. They were married on 12/25/1913. I don't know if any of this will help. If you have any information that can help my search please let me know.
