Hi Louise,

My name is Maria Williams. I am 24 years old. I have information on a Duncan Black from Moore County, who is a ggggg uncle of mine. Are you related to this Duncan Black? Unfortunately, I do not have a computer at home right now, but you can call me on my cell phone at 267-679-8040. I live in Philadelphia, PA.

If you and I are related to this Duncan Black, his lineage comes stright from Scotland. We were able to trace this lineage to Malcom Black and Catherine McArthur back in 1690. They were born in Scotland. Our family was from the Isle of Jura, Scotland and the Isle of Argl, Scotland. Our family owned the Northern part of Scotland. The "Black" last name originated from the name "McLean". If you look in the history books on Scotland, you will find that there was a big rivary between the "McLeods" and the "McLeans". This rivary is well known.

Thanks,
Maria :)
