The only sure member of the Black family I have been able to locate is one Isabella Black, born ca. 1787/90 in Abbeville who later married Jesse Campbell and had the following children(that I know of): Javan, Jehu, Rosetta, and Zilpha. I've found sources naming Isabella's father as Robert Black, her mother as Mary Caldwell, but I can't back this up and information is scarce. In some records, Isabella is called "Abby", if this helps. Please reply directly to if you have information. Thank you!
