I am looking for imfprmation on John and Luke Black. They appeared in the 1806 tax record of Pleasant Township, Fairfield County Ohio. According to the Census Luke either moved or died since sometime arround 1820. However John stayed in the township until his deat in 1854. He is buried in the White House United Methodist Cemetary in Pleasant Township.

I belive he married Eve sometime in the early 1810's. She is burried next to him in the cemetary. She died in 1858.

I belive them to be the parents of my gg grandfather Benjamim Black who lived his entire life in the Township. I have this family well documented from Benjamin forward.

Also the 1880 census has Benjamin's father as being born in GER. Someone wrote over it so it is very hard to tell for sure. You would think it is Germany but the census taker wrote out GERMANY on other records.
