Funny, I was just going to post another reply to you---I'm planning on sharing your info with my family---then I remembered my moms side has mormon history. So thats probably it---she converted to mormonism---or whatever terminology---and he disowned her. Seems plausible.
I have a little info on her from LDS records---but most of what I have either the dates have been wrong, research has been messed up or the info given to the church is questionable.
I am going around and verifying what I've got---especially because I live in Virginia and can access some MD records.
But anyways---thanks for sending me the info---if it came out of a County History book I trust it a lot more!
