I have been intrigued by the similarity of the names found both in Vermilion County and in Champaign Co., IL with my ancestor, George B. Black b 1825 different census have OH or PA as birth places but I have had no luck finding any parents. Not to long ago I met a descendant of one of the Black families in Vermillion Co. and except for his height, I thought I was looking at my dad. George B. Black moved from Tusc. Co. OH to Mason Co., IL ca 1878 and died in Appleton, WI 1896. My grandfather, Alden D. stayed in Mason Co., IL.
