These could be desendants of one of these familys I don't know, but I'll place them here, for they were in Illinois,
also.
Mr. George Leslie and Mr. Silas Black family.
b: in Belfast, Ireland
Came to U.S. October of 1869
Were engaged in the dry goods business in Danville,
Vermilion County, Illinois.

James H. Black family
b: 6th of January, 1814. In Burbon County, kentucky.
m: 1834 to Eliza Ann Odell, native of New York.
Farmer: Vermilion County, Illinois.
James H. Black's father name was Mr. John Black, from
Kentucky.

Let me know.
You can contact the historical Society in Danville,
Vermilion County, Illinois also. This may or may not
be a connected family with the Black's you are searching.
