My g-g grandfather was John Black from Ballisodare, Co. Sligo, Ireland. He was married to Elizabeth Hart and they had eight children. The childrens names were Cathrine, John, James, Thomas, Jane, Hester, Mary Ann and Charles. In either 1849 or 1850 they left Ireland for Scotland, where they settled in Dundee. John and Elizabeth both died in 1859. In 1872 my g-grandparents, Charles Black and Margaret Roberts, left Scotland for the U.S, but the remainder of the family stayed in Dundee. They settled in Leominister, Massachuttes. Any connection?
