My grandfather was Samuel Franklin Black. I think he was born in Calahan County, Texas. I don't know much about his side of the family. He had a brother named William. His mother, Sarah Ann owned a ranch in Admiral, Tx. It stayed in the family until she went in a nursing home. Sarah Ann died in Ft. Worth,Tx in 1964. Samuel died about 1959 in Ft. Worth. There are several Blacks buried in the Stacy Cemetery. Would like to hear from you on this lineage.
