I'm looking for the Father & Mother of Govan Black. He is in the 1880 census of Union Co. S.C., Dratonville township. He was born 12/29/1850. The census shows he was married to Sallie Black and they had 3 children, Thomas, Louis and James. Govan had 2 brothers livinig with him, their names were George Silvan Black and Bridge Black. Govan was a brother to Marion T. Black who is my gggrandfather. Any info greatly appreciated. The bible records show a Limestone township. Is there a limestone township in Union Co. S.C.?
