I descend from George and Phebe Black of Knox Co, OH. George was born ca 1786 in Pennsylvania and Phebe was supposed to have been born in Maryland. George and two of his brothers, Jacob and Andrew, came to Knox Co. This is not a "three brother tradition." I can document it from Ohio and Penn records. Could this be your family? Who do you show in Knox Co with a PA birth?
