Donald Eugene Black, a resident of Green Valley, passed away on Friday, Nov. 29, 2002.
He was born June 15, 1931, in Minot, N.D., and served in the US Force during the Korean Conflict, 1949 to 1952. He worked for the Boeing Co., in Seattle, Wash., for 35 years, returning to North Dakota after retiring in 1989.
He raised Limousin cattle in Washington and North Dakota. He moved to Green Valley in 1999.
He was preceded in death by his son John, nephew Jerry Burke, sister Allison Nash, Brothers Robert Bushnell, Melvin Bushnell, Charles Black, John Black and Richard Bushnell.
He is survived by wife, Judith, daughters Kim (David) Knutzen and Sheila (Charles) Pierce; grandchildren, Carole, Brian, Robert Katlin and Sean; sister Ethel (Gene) Burke; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services have been held. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shrine Children’s Hospital, location of your choice.
