Hi,
I am looking for information on my great grandmothers family. I don't have much to go on at this point. There seems to be a mystery about this family. Any help I can get will be greatly appreciated. Here is what I have so far.

Mary Black (my great grandmother) had at least one sister Rose. When they were small children their fahter (unknown name ) was killed. Their mother Mattie Black (unknown maiden name) remarried a man named Zeb Radford (not sure if this is correct name). Zeb raised the two girls as his own. I do not know if Mattie and Zeb had children of their own or not. Mary was born in Transylvania County, NC in 1890. She married James Oliver Burns and had the following children 5 boys and 4 girls.

Joe Burns
Guy Burns
Arthur Perry Burns (my grandfather)
Vida Burns
Evelyn Burns
Debbie Burns
Pauline Burns
