I'm trying to locate more information about the parents of John A. Black. John was born 17 Sep 1836 in Georgia and died 17 Sep 1921 in Lawrence Co., Arkansas. According to the 1900 U.S. Census for Lawrence Co., Arkansas, John's parents were from South Carolina. Does anyone know their names?

John married Celia Ann E. (born 18 Mar 1837 in Alabama and died 18 Jun 1907). Acc. to the same census, her parents were from Alabama. Does anyone know her parents' names or perhaps her maiden name at least?

They are both buried in the Townsend Cemetery, Sharp Co., Arkansas.

Known children of John and Celia Ann are:
1. Elizabeth (Eliza) Black, b. 1862 in Missouri (anyone know what county?) Eliza married Al Smith and then J. M. Williams.
2. Andrew Black (b. Oct 1869 in Kansas)
3. Henry F. Black b. 10 Mar 1875, Kansas; died Feb 1949. He married Sallie Bratcher.
