I am trying to find information on my great-grandmother Alice Mary Southgate, born in suffolk.. I know that she was working as a servant in Beckenham in 1901 and that she was still unmarried. I have been told she later became Mrs Black and did not move back to suffolk. My grandfather Percy James (Alice`s son) was born in 1984 while she was working as a servant in Badley, Suffolk..
