I too am researching the surname of Black/Schwartz. I am researching the Frederick Black family who lived in Rockingham County, Va, before migrating to Preble County, Ohio. I have seen some information on your line from Botecourt, and a lot of the same names are in your line. I have always thought there might be a connection between the two families, but I haven't found the connection yet. In your posting you mentioned that your frederick's father was Heinrich. Would you happen to have a birth year for him? Maybe it is possible that your Heinrich and my Frederick could be brothers? My Frederich was b. 1722 or 1729. I would be willing to share what information I have.
