Dear Keith, I have a William Black son of Thomas and Mary Black,brother to my Lemuel Black, Lemuel was born abt. 1769 they Lived in Elbert and Oglethorpe Ga. , Lemuel is an ancestor of Chief Justice Hugo Layfayette Black of Alabama and there was some research done for him when he sat on the Supreme Court. maybe that can help you track your particular branch of the Black tree.
