According to her gravestone at Taylors First Baptist Church in Greenville County, S.C., Nora was born Oct 27, 1875 and died May 31, 1934.

She is buried with her husband, John L. Black. He was the son of Andrew B. Black and Addie McAlister.

I have been unable to find her connection to the many Shockleys in Greenville County.

Can anyone help identify her parents ?
