I was wondering if you had birth dates on Sam Black's children.My gr gr grandfather was an Elisha Black from Ky.
At least that is what I have been told.He was born around 1820 and later moved to Jasper Co Mo.He died in 1860 in a fire in what is now Crawford Co.Ks.
He has been the family brick wall for years as his wife's tombstone says Edward W.Black on it.Don't know if he changed his name,he went by Elisha and named his son Elisha
