My great grandfather, Winston Black was born August 9, 1816 in VA. I believe his mother's name was Margaret. He married Eliza Smith Oct. 29, 1839. He worked with a Brinton Baker and named my grandfather after him, Brinton Baker Black. They lived in Xenia, OH. There seems to have been errors on census records and cemetery records as to his name and it was recorded as V. Black, Vincen Black, and Vincent Black. However, all the dates and names surrounding these records jive with my information about Winston Black. I would like to find out who his parents were and where they orginated.
