Looking for the family of Mrs. Effie (Alexander) Black who was b. 3 May 1905 and died Oct 1975. She was the sister to my husband's grandmother; Elizabeth Lydia Alexander (1903-1970) who m. #1, August Wilton Chalfant about 1919 and then #2 Sutton.

Some of this family were in and around Oliver Springs, Roane County, Tn. Trying to piece together the family and need help. No one known alive to contact. Never knew much of Effie and her family but they lived in Memphis area in the early 1960's. Have just had someone further up the family tree find us as we are searching for this ALEXANDER family the sisters belonged to. Help appreciated. Share info.
