Caswell Black married Elizabeth Derick/Derrick 19 Dec 1854 in Bear Creek,now Hampton, Henry County, GA. Caswell was a successful merchant according to "History of Henry County GA". Caswell died 1856/67.

It is said that Nathaniel Black, brother of Caswell, married Elizabeth and went off to the Civil War. 1860 Census gives Elizabeth living in house of her father in Henry County with a child. This could be either Caswell's or Nathaniel's. Nathaniel was killed in Mississippi in1861.

Does anyone know anything about these two brothers and the wife they both were married too? All seem to have disappeared. These brothers were originally from Upson County, GA
