Nancy--

Thanks for your information. I have very little information on my John
Black. Here's the extent of what I have been able to find on him:

John Black, b. 1806 in Butler, PA; m. 1828 to Sussanna Catherina
(Catherine) Keener; Occupation: Farmer; they had only one child--Solomon
Black b. Dec 9, 1830; John died before 1835 and his wife Catherine
re-married after John's death to a Moses Wilhelm in 1835.

I have no way of knowing if there is a connection between your Andrew and my
John. I don't know anything about John's parents and have found no mention
anywhere of John's siblings or if he even had any. If you (or anyone) know
of any information on your Andrew having siblings that matches up with the
information on my John that would be a start.

I would welcome ANY information (or suggestions on where else to look) that
ANYONE has on my John Black that might help me further my search as I have
been trying to get beyond this brickwall for over a year.

Nancy, again, thank you for your information. I will hold onto it and see
if I can't determine if there is a connection or not from my end as well.

Andy
