There's a few Black lines in Ga. Thomas (C) Black was born in "NC" in 1790. He appeared in the 1850 Murray Co Ga census with his second wife. Neighbor was Augustus Gustavus Black,my gggrandfather. Parnell Truitt Foster Black was also a neighbor. Thomas was in the 1840 and, from my memory in the 1830 census of Newton Co Ga. Naming of children indicate the A G Black and P T F Black were probable brothers and land transactions between Thomas Black and Augustus Black indicate relatioship. A G Black
was born 1819 in Ga. Early census records indicate that A G Black and P T F Black age could match the pre-1850 census of Thomas Black and I assumed the old Thomas had died, but he appeared in the DeKalb AL 1860 census withe his second wife. He sired his last child at age 69. There is more info probably here and on genforum.
