I have sent out several messages looking for information about John Black of
Butler, PA born in 1806. I am still up against a brick wall in my research
and I am resending this information in the hopes that someone new out there
has some information or ideas that can lead me past this road block. A
number of you have forwarded information on some of John's descendants and
possible connections for which I am grateful, but I am still looking for any
leads that will provide me with the names and dates for John's parents,
siblings, and/or any other ancesters.

Once again here ar all the particulars:

John, born in Butler, PA in 1806, was married to Catherine (or Sussanna
Catherina) Keener in 1828. They had one son named Solomon Black who was
born in 1830. Solomon married Mary Ann Russell on 7 Mar 1854. Solomon and
Mary Ann had 8 children:

William Wilson b: 1855, d: 1932
Margaret Jane b: 1859, d: 1955
Mary Ellen b: 1874
Hary White b: 1870, d: 1951
Lewis T. b: 1863, d: 1949
Smith M. b: 1861, d: 1944
Lizzie Catherine b: 1857, d 1951
Nannie Bell b: 1866, d: 1957

After John's death (I presume it was after his death as I have found no
record of his date or place of death) Catherine (Keener) Black was married
to a Moses Wilhelm in 1836 in PA . Catherine and Moses went on to have 9
children.

Any information is gratefully appreciated and I will happily share my
information on John Black's descendants if anyone is interested.
