Does anyone have any information on the following family. Thomas Black,
born 25 Oct 1768 probably in SC, died 3 Nov 1851 don't know where.
Married in 1830 to Edity H. Pyle who was born about 1772, died 12 Jan
1902 in Butler, Bates County, MO. Thomas Black was married before to
Rebecca Shilso (no information on her at all). Thomas's parents were
Hance & Agnes Nancy Black. Children were David, born 17 Sep 1798; John,
born 8 Aug 1809, and Carter Tarrence, born 18 Jan 1818 in Butler, Bates
County, MO, died 12 Jan 1902 in Butler, Bates County, MO.

Carter Tarrence Black married (1) Mary Katherine Coberly on 8 Oct
1840 in Morgan County, MO; married (2) Mary R. ______ IN 1878. I
would love to find out where these Black's came from and what their
nationality was?

Carter T. Black and Mary Katherine Coberly had several children,
Eleanor Elizabeth "Ellen", born 12 Jul 1841 in Auburn, Sangamon
County, IL, died 29 Mar 1902 in Butler, Bates County, MO the wife
of James T. (Thomas) Graves.; Joseph C., born 29 Aug 1843; Charles
C., born 22 Aug 1845; William T., born 21 May 1848; George H., born
11 May 1858; John Douglas, born 16 Sep 1860; and Mary, born about
1849.

Carter T. Black was a house carpenter, as listed in the 1850 Census
of Nodaway County, MO.

Please, I can't seem to find any more information on the line into
the Graves.
