Howard, I'm really not sure exactly where in Allegheny County my Black family lived. The few scraps of info I have indicate they lived in Pittsburgh, but it's possible they could have lived in a nearby town at some point. I do know that the daughter of my Samuel & Mary Kidd Black, Ida Belle Black, was married in 1896 in Pittsburgh, and she and her husband Elmer McClintock and their children were living in Pittsburgh in the 1900 census.
