Not having much luck finding anything. I did find a John Milton Black born in Illinois, died in Iowa..married to a Selina Jane Matlock..unfortunately he was born in 1843, married in 1863..died in 1897..had two children that I came across..Mamie and William David..that was from familysearch.com..did a search for Ira N. Black in the 1900 census..no Ira's w/ an "N", nd the others were in Arkansas, PA, Colorado..there are so many John Blacks..mine come from Maine and Massachusetts. If I come accross anything, I'll let you know.
