Deanne,

I've been looking at census records. I found a George W. Black in the 1900 GA census, born Oct 1851. You may have already seen it, but in case you haven't, here is the information: George W. , 48, b. Oct 1851 in Georgia, father b. Georgia, mother b. N. Carolina, married 20 years, 6 children, 5 survived. Mary J. , 48, b. Feb 1852 in GA, both parents born in GA, Charly F. 17, b. June 1882/1883, James E., 16, b. May 1883/1884, Chester M. , 12, b. June 1887, Arthur H., 10, b. Nov 1889, Annie, 6, b. July 1893. I'm pretty sure of the kids names, the census was difficult to read. Is this your George? I'm hqaving a hard time finding him in earlier census records. Will look again w/ some spelling variations and see what I come up with.

Diane
