About a month ago I sent out an initial message looking for information
about John Black
of Butler, PA born in 1806. I am still up against a brick wall in my
research and I am resending this information in the hopes that someone new
out there has some information that can lead me
past this road block.

John was married to Catherine (or Sussanna Catherina) Keener in 1828. They
had one
son named Solomon Black who was born in 1830. Solomon married Mary Ann
Russell on 7 Mar 1854. Solomon and Mary Ann had 8 children:

William Wilson b: 1855, d: 1932
Margaret Jane b: 1859, d: 1955
Mary Ellen b: 1874
Hary White b: 1870, d: 1951
Lewis T. b: 1863, d: 1949
Smith M. b: 1861, d: 1944
Lizzie Catherine b: 1857, d 1951
Nannie Bell b: 1866, d: 1957

After John's death Catherine (Keener) Black remarried to a Moses Wilhelm in
1836 in PA.

Does anyone have any information on this John Black and his ancestors? Any
help getting past this brick wall would be greatly appreciated. I will
happily share my information on John Black's descendants if anyone is
interested.
