I too am looking for info on a William L.P. Black birth: 8-16-1878 Death: 12-14-1899. His ancestors founded Cherryville, NC. Married Gussie Lee clark b: 1899 from Crouse, NC . I "believe" William L. P.father's name was David and his mother was Barbara Hallman. Wiliam L P Balck was burried in Bessmer city, NC.
If you have any info on this William or resources for me to search I would greatly appreciat it. I am from Lincoln County, NC and plan to visit this summer. I understand there is a graveyard in cherryville for Black family.
