I have hit a road block in my research of my family. I have been able to
trace my line back to John Black who was born in Butler, PA in 1806 and was
married to Catherine (or Sussanna Catherina) Keener in 1828. They had one
son named Solomon Black who was born in 1830. Solomon married Mary Ann
Russell on 7 Mar 1854. Solomon and Mary Ann had 8 children:

William Wilson
Margaret Jane
Mary Ellen
Hary White
Lewis T.
Smith M.
Lizzie Catherine
Nannie Bell

Does anyone have any information on this John Black and his ancestors? Any
help getting past this brick wall would be greatly appreciated. I will
happily share my information on John Black's descendants if anyone is
interested.
