I too am searching for Browns from Phelps Co.
My GGGgranparents were from Phelps Co, Mo..James
and Margaret Brown bn. abt. 1813.came from VA and Ohio.
What is the b.date of your Browns? my G Grandmother is their Dau. Amanda Josephine and other siblings.
If this is your same family, let me hear from you.
I have alot of info. also pic. of James Jr. their Son.
