To whom it may concern:
I saw that someone is looking for info. on a Francis Black. I have a Frances Black b.early 1800's in TN, in my line (spelled the way I spelled it correct or not). I don't believe it is the same one, but since poeple named children after ancestors, it wouldn't hurt to take a look. There could be a connection. I don't have much info. at all on this particular person, but she married a Drury Perry and is buried at Chapel Hill, KY. She had 10 siblings and they are pretty much scattered out all over the country. You can look at a story on the Sumner Co. TN home page and go to the Family Album section and read the story called "The Black's of Little Trammel". That should have enough info. for you to figure out if there may be some connection. Hope this helps you.
Sincerely, Andy Black
