Dear Ginny, thank you for your help. My email is . I have looked at a few Phelps co cemetaries on line. I saw that there was a "Black" cemetary and a Brown Cemetary (only 1 Brown buried in the so called Brown cemetary.) So far I have not found Francis Jane Black/Brown or her husband James Robert Brown in any of the cemetaries. Therefore, was reading through the Watts journals when I came across William Black and a lead for my Brown line...Arthur B. Brown b. Sept 22, 1816 TN m. Elizabeth Martin d. Oct 6 1898 Beaver cr. Phelps co MO. They moved to Mo in 1847.

Francis Jane was quiet a bit older than her husband...I wonder if she had been married before?
