My Black ancestors also lived in Waynesburg, PA. My ggrandmother is Emma Laura Black (b. 1879-1880 Waynesburg; d. 1943 Lancaster, Fairfield Co, OH). She married Marion Francis Anderson, son of Samuel Anderson and Margaret Jane Clouston. Emma is the daughter of Lindsey Black (b. Jan 1844 PA or WV) and Mariah Crumley/Comley (b. 1847-1848 Greene Co, PA; d. Nov 1895 Greene Co, PA). According to info I inherited from my great aunt, Lindsey had the following siblings: Anna (married Lindsey Gladden), Jack, and William (married Lydia ?). I have been unable to find the parents of Lindsey and his siblings. If any of this connects with your info, I would love to exchange what I have collected thus far.
