I am seeking information on John Black, who came from the Arglye region of Scotland to Canada in 1820 or 1825. I have an old photograph of a memorial which is built somewhere in Canada (I believe it's somewhere near Guelph, Ontario, but none of the family can remember the exact location). It lists John and his wife Janet Campbell as having come to Canada in 1820 or 1825- the date is difficult to read from the photo. Any information about his family line, or even the location of the marker, would be greatly appreciated.
