Could you kindly help me as a new member to find information re. George
BLACK bn.1791, died Jan 22 1827 in Jarrow.Co Durham. Family rumour has
it that he deserted a Scottish Regiment and came to Durham as miner.His
son John BLACK bn. 26 Jul 1818 in Jarrow & married Jane Greenwell bn.
1823. They produced a daughter Ann Thompson BLACK in 1843 in Jarrow.

Any help would be appreciated!
