Tried to reach you through the LDS link -- which must have expired. Duncan and Hannah Black had a son, Alexander Black who was born at Ft. William in 1813. He married Elizabeth Shearin in 1839, also at Ft. William. They had a son Alexander W.A. Shearin Black born in Calcutta in 1840. I find no further records for Alexander (father and son) in India and assume they went to Australia or New Zeeland. There is an Alexander Duncan Black (son of John and Annie Frazer Black) born in 1886. And there is an Alexander who married Agnes Elizabeth ? in New Zealand. I descend from the first Alexander Black' elder sister Amelia. Hope this is a connection. Respond directly to . Thanks
