Do any of these Cherryville based Black families move to Rowan or Davidson
Cos? I am trying to break through a brick wall with my ancestor Calvin
Black (1832-Nov 1869). His death is recorded on the the1870 Rowan Co census
(age 37, died Nov of typhoid fever). A Calvin Black is also on the 1850
Davidson Co. census, age 19, in a family headed by Basheba Black, age 41.
If anyone is familar with these families, would appreciate a lead. Thanks.
