Pam - do you know anything about a Black line that migrated to Bourbon Co, Kentucky in late 1700s/early 1800s? My 3rd Great Grandfather was a John S Black, born there in 1805, and he married a Sarah Taylor (daughter of George Taylor Sr and Mary Thomas), born there in 1806. I know nothing about THEIR ancestors - only that John S Black was the son of a John Black Jr....and that George Taylor Sr was the son a John Taylor Sr. But I can't determine where they came from or further track down their corresponding families. I do know some of the families they married into originally came from North Carolina. Desperate for clues - and when you mentioned "other Black lines"....well, I can leave no stone unturned! Do these names, locations, and dates ring a bell?
