Claudia,
If you could give me some names and approx. dates, I may be able to help you. My Black family statred out in North and South Carolina (I have them back to 1802) and moved to Cleburne Co., Alabama around 1879. There were also some Blacks that were in Abbeyville Co., Alabama. Most tof the family moved on into Johnson Co., Texas by the 1880's. My 3rd great grandfather was James Reanold Black born in 1802; 2nd great grandfather was Joel Townson Black, born 1831; greatgrandfather was Elijah Andrew (E. A.) Black, born 1861 and grandfather was Marvin Bagley Black, born 1885 (this was my mother's father). If any of these names sound familar, let me know. I also keep a few other records of other Black lines, that are not my own, just in case I run across someone I can help.
Pam Hale
